Elevate Recovery Advocacy is the Washington Recovery Alliance’s signature public policy and media engagement program.

It is more than a training—it is the foundation of a statewide recovery movement.

The WRA and King County Recovery Coalition are partnering to host a virtual version of our Elevate Training on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This free training offers participants a chance to build skills in telling their behavioral health recovery story to a lawmaker, successfully advocating and engaging with the legislative process, and pro-recovery media advocacy. We have several interactive participant exercises included in this training, so please come ready to share and engage with fellow community members.
