10th Annual Mason County Overdose Awareness Walk & Resource Fair — Belfair

Join the Mason County community for an evening of remembrance, support, education, resources, and hope. The free event includes a Community Resource Fair from 3:00–5:15 PM, speeches beginning at 5:45 PM, a moment of silence, and an awareness walk beginning around 6:05 PM. Free event shirts will be available while supplies last. Free and open to everyone.

Overdose Awareness and Remembrance Day

City Hall Park, Seattle, WA

Join DESC for a community-centered Overdose Awareness and Remembrance Day event from 1:00–4:00 PM. The gathering will honor lives lost to overdose, reduce stigma, and strengthen community healing and awareness.

Recovery 5K Fun Run & Walk

Illahee Preserve Heritage Park, 5474 Almira Dr NE, Bremerton, WA 98310

Celebrate National Recovery Month with the Salish Recovery Coalition’s 4th Annual Recovery 5K — a fun run, walk, and hike through the trails of Illahee Preserve. All experience levels are welcome, from first-time 5K walkers to experienced athletes. Participants receive event swag, a custom finisher’s medallion, plus coffee and donuts at the finish. All proceeds support the Salish Recovery Coalition and its mission of supporting all roads to recovery.

Move for Recovery

Seward Park – Picnic Shelter #1, Seattle, WA

Join Evergreen Treatment Services for a family-friendly walk, run, or hike from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM in recognition of National Recovery Month and to honor people in recovery. Participants can move at their own pace through Seattle’s Seward Park while celebrating the many paths recovery can take.

WRAP Seminar I

9/15/2026

Virtual

September 15–18, 8:30 AM–1:00 PM daily. Build your own personalized Wellness Recovery Action Plan and explore practical strategies for staying well across all areas of life. WRAP can be used in settings including reentry support, youth and families, veterans, and workplace wellness. Seminar I is a prerequisite for WRAP Seminar II. Cost: $299.

WRAP Seminar II: Group Facilitator Training

10/26/2026

Jones Community Solutions, Federal Way, WA

October 26–28, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM daily. In-person facilitator training focused on WRAP values, ethics, and core principles. Participants will build skills to facilitate WRAP groups and lead WRAP Seminar I for staff and community members. Includes 508-compliant materials, manual, and PowerPoints. Cost: $799.

What is WRAP? Comprehensive Overview

Join Peer Hope for a free, engaging overview of the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), an internationally recognized, evidence-based curriculum rooted in lived experience, mutual support, and self-determination. Learn about the origins of WRAP and how this flexible, strengths-based framework can support wellness, recovery, resilience, reentry, housing transitions, military service, and other major life changes. 9:00–10:00 AM. Free.

Recovery Day at the Park

Evergreen Rotary Park, Bremerton, WA

Continue the Recovery Month celebration from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM with a free community gathering at Evergreen Rotary Park. Bring the whole family for a free BBQ, food, games, fellowship, and community resource fair. No registration is required — just come as you are.

Punk Walk & Roll 5K

Wright Park, Tacoma 501 S I Street, Tacoma, WA 98405

Punk Walk & Roll 5K is a community walk and concert held annually in Tacoma during National Recovery Month. On September 12, 2026, join us at Wright Park for a 5K route, live music, and post-walk community gathering — all benefiting Tacoma Recovery Center. Registration is $35 and includes an event shirt. This event is sober, community-rooted, and built on the belief that recovery deserves to be celebrated out loud.

2026 Recovery Bash & Resource Fair

Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E 4th St., Port Angeles, WA

Join Reflections Counseling Services Group for the 2026 Recovery Bash & Resource Fair from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. This free community event is open to everyone and includes food, raffle prizes, games, community resources, connection, support, and hope.
