The Washington Recovery Alliance is excited to announce that session proposals are now being accepted for the Voices of Recovery Summit, taking place on October 5, 2026, in Spokane, Washington.


The Voices of Recovery Summit brings together people with lived experience, peer professionals, family members, recovery leaders, providers, policymakers, and community partners from across Washington State for a day of learning, connection, and inspiration.


We are seeking engaging presentations, workshops, panel discussions, storytelling sessions, and interactive learning opportunities that elevate recovery voices and strengthen our communities.


Potential topic areas include but not limited to:

  • Recovery support services and peer support

  • Family and youth recovery supports

  • Tribal and culturally responsive recovery approaches

  • Recovery-friendly workplaces

  • Community organizing and coalition building

  • Leadership development

  • Public policy and systems change

  • Recovery storytelling and stigma reduction

  • Recovery housing

  • Behavioral health and wellness

  • Harm reduction and overdose prevention


Proposal Deadline: August 1, 2026
